What Causes Bad Sector?

The cause of Bad Sector in general is the weakening of the magnetic disk on the hard drive which results in mechanical errors. How to fix Bad Sector?
In the Windows Operating System there are features / tools default from Windows named "Chkdsk" whose function is to find an error on the hard disk disk after it will be corrected. Logical error, besides that Chkdsk can detect and mark Bad Sector, so the Windows operating system no longer uses it.
To enter into this tool itself is very easy, you just need to:
- Enter My Computer, After that you Right-click which partition you want to check for, for example C, D, or E.
- After that the menu will appear. Please select Properties.
- Then the Properties dialog box will appear, Above there is a Menu you can choose Tools to enter into Chkdsk Tools.

- Click Check.
