Smart phone companies are trying to provide consumers with phones completely without bevel and without notch, and from what we've seen so far, brands like Oppo and Vivo are leading the charge with their sometimes strange and other innovative. New ways to solve the problem of "where the hell do we put the front camera".
However, now, according to the leaked returns of the next Oppo Reno smartphone, it seems that the company has once again decided to try something new with its design, and it looks ... weird?
Check out these Oppo Reno leaks. At first glance, it seems that it is a normal smartphone with a pop-up camera, however, if you have to believe in leaks, the pop-up camera here is not your usual implementation. Instead, Oppo is pulling the front camera out at an odd angle, making the whole module a bit triangular.
It's probably something that will give people some serious OCD problems because the phone looks unbalanced like hell when the camera appears, but I can still see the reasons behind Oppo's decision to try out this new design.
For starters, it only looks much more stable and much less fragile than the normal cameras we've seen so far. It also seems that it would be less bulky and less annoying than mobile phones like the Find X or the Mi MIX 3. Although the sliders are fun, they become annoying after a while, especially the manuals.
Obviously, since these are early leaks, we recommend that you take this with a grain of salt. However, Slashleaks also has a handy video of the Reno with its strange and tilted pop-up camera, which leads us to think that these can be leaks that are worth taking into account as the news on this phone progresses.
