How to Schedule Livestream on YouTube in Advance

Live streaming has gained popularity in Twitch, a service that allows gamers to stream content to viewers in real time. However, services like Periscope, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube have begun to allow users to play content on the platform. But recent focus on YouTube is that we've recently launched an update that allows users to schedule a live streaming schedule, so we've already got the idea when viewers are online. I've tried this feature on a Galaxy S8 running Android 7.1 Nougat, but this feature is available on the web for iOS as well as on the web.

Schedule live stream on YouTube in Advance

This process is very simple, so you can follow and learn soon.

#1: Launch the YouTube app and tap the Record / Live streaming button shown below, then tap 'Go live'.

#2: From here, click More Options, and then tap the transition next to "Schedule for later."

#3: Tap date and time to schedule a live stream. For example, in the image below, we scheduled YouTube live stream on November 3 at 5:25 pm

When you schedule live streaming, notifications are sent to all subscribers. So when you start live streaming, you can see if your audience knows it, and if you like, you can watch it. This is a very simple and small feature, but it can be a great help for YouTube creators.
