Over the past few months, major smartphone manufacturers have boasted their latest flagship camera performance by advertising DxOMark scores to leapfrog each other and attract a higher number of customers. We did not get a rating for any Xiaomi phone by date, and Dxomark finally gave an amazing result for Mi Note 3.
According to DxoMark's extensive camera testing, launched in September 2017, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has a nice dual lens camera setting with a rating of 90. This unit includes two 12MP sensors, one standard lens with f / 1.8 aperture and a telephoto lens with f / 2.6 aperture.
This camera setup is very similar to many dual camera systems on the market today, but the Mi Note 3 works well in bright lighting conditions. To take better pictures outdoors, you can turn on HDR. This unit works well not only indoors but also in low light conditions. Thanks to DxOMark, it has garnered 94 points in photography and outperformed Apple's iPhone 8 and Google Pixel last year.
As you can see above, the Mi Note 3 outperformed some of the best flagship devices because the benchmarking agency included zoom and bokeh performance as benchmarks. The Mi Note 3 offers superior performance in this department and offers accurate personality modes that are superior to competitors with 2x optical zoom.
In the screenshot below, Xiaomi's Mi Note 3 scored better than the previous Google Pixel and iPhone 8 of the year. It is said that it has not been successful because camera installation is better than HTC's 2017 main device U11.
Benchmarks are not the best way to judge the image quality of smartphone cameras, but the DxOMark rating has become quite popular over time. Many hardware builders not only weigh a lot in the DxOMark benchmark, but they also help you get a higher grade customer. The photo rating of Mi Note 3 will improve Xiaomi's device sales in the coming weeks. So, do you plan to purchase the Mi Note 3 because the camera's excellence is equivalent to Google Pixel?
